Minex Far East 2016
The conference promotes the development of advanced mining methods and stimulates geological exploration in the Russian Far East.
MINEX Far East 2016 – Conference and Exhibition will be held at the “Molodezhny Center”: 1, Komsomolskaya Square, Magadan, on 14-15th July 2016 as part of the International Investment Fair and the 2nd Russian Gold Festival.
The conference is organised with the support of the Government of the Magadan Region.
The conference is aimed at the companies engaged in exploration and mining activities in the Russian Far East as well as members of regional governments and regulatory agencies, engineering and consulting companies and financiers/investors. The expected attendance is 150-200 delegates from Russia and abroad.

Alexander Prikhodko P.Geo., PhD. is presenting on Day Two, 10 – 10:20am, in the first technical session on Exploration and Production in Far East Russia about Airborne geophysical electromagnetic technology: reducing risks, increasing capitalization, and our international experience.

14 July.
Day One of the Conference will start at 9:30 with a welcome speech from the Governor of the Magadan Region. The following sessions will provide an outlook of the mining industry in the Russian Far East complemented by presentations from the leading mining companies working in the region. The sessions will recommence after lunch with two concurrent streams of technical sessions.
The planned topics of the technical sessions include:
1. Exploration and junior mining companies’ activity in the Russian Far East.
- Heap leaching in the cold climate;
- Development of new mining projects;
- Investment valuation and risks in mining.
Networking drinks reception will be held at 18.00.

15 July.
Day Two of the Conference starts at 9:30. It will include two sessions on investment and financing of exploration and mining projects separated with a coffee break.
The conference will close with a cocktail reception at 13.30.
The exhibition will run concurrently at the foyer during the Conference opening hours.
Limited places are available for the Conference delegates interested in visiting the newly build Pavlik gold mine, and possibly one other of the gold mines in the Magadan Region.
