Apex Resources Inc. Contracts Airborne Geophysical Surveys for its Golden Triangle Properties, B.C.

Vancouver, B.C. – March 10, 2017: Apex Resources Inc. (TSX-V: APX, the “Company” or “Apex”) is pleased to announce that it has contracted Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario to carry out a helicopter-borne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical survey of its Cloud and Eldorado properties in B.C.’s Golden Triangle.

The Cloud and Eldorado properties are located approximately 50 km north of the community of Stewart, B.C. adjacent to the historic, 15.5 million tonne, Granduc copper, gold and silver mine. The Granduc ore deposit comprises a series of six concordant massive sulphide lenses, localized within a sequence of metavolcanic and metasedimentary rocks. Individual ore zones are up to a few tens of metres thick and extend laterally up to hundreds of metres.

The present survey is designed to detect massive sulphide mineralization similar to the Granduc deposits. The survey will use Geotech Ltd.’s Versatile Time-Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) geophysical system to locate discrete conductive anomalies on the two properties. A high-sensitivity cesium magnetometer survey will be flown in conjunction with the VTEM survey to acquire information on geologic structure and lithology.
The survey will be carried out in March and will be flown from the community of Stewart, BC.
