OROM Graphite Project Update

Consolidated Africa Limited (NSX: CRA) – 7 June 2016 – provides the following update following completion of Geophysical Work at its OROM Graphite Project.

The helicopter based VTEM geophysical survey commenced beginning May 2016 and was completed by the end of May 2016 within budget and on time. The survey totalled 1078 km in geophysical lines (245km within EL1173 and 833km within EL1025).

The initial results of the VTEM survey has indicated numerous anomalies within the project area and is currently still being processed with an announcement to be issued shortly on the findings. These anomalies correlate directly with the graphite occurrences obtained through the geological surface mapping, trenching, and drilling programmes conducted. The company discovered an extension of the graphite occurrence and have applied for an exploration lease over this new area. The new area is to the East of the existing lease and is on ground that is generally flat and amenable to trench work and drilling.

The company will be examining potential high quality jumbo flake graphite occurrences. We will take the interpreted results of the geophysical work and trench approximately 3,000 meters of areas of interest.

The anomilies will be mapped and sampled so as to conduct metallurgical test work, including flotation and flake size distribution. The knowledge from these results and previous mapping, drilling and pitting results will be used to determine drill targets with the objective of defining a resource capable of sustaining an economic mine.

We are currently finalising a small placement that will sustain this current work program. All enquiries can be forwarded to the Chairman, Philip Lindsay.
