Namibia makes 2 billion U.S dollars from mineral exports

Namibia’s mines and energy minister has said the country made 23 billion Namibian dollars (2 billion U. S dollars) in exports, while another 1.4 billion Namibian dollars (117 million U.S dollars) came in form of royalties last year.

He also spoke about the work being done by the Geological Survey of Namibia, which through its National Airborne Geophysical Surveys program added 19,500 line-kilometers of electromagnetic data to the national airborne geophysical database.
