Quotations

In order to receive an airborne quotation, what do I need to provide?

You will need your survey area (coordinates or polygons), line spacing, line direction, accommodations, local knowledge, and deadlines.

For more details please see our Getting Started Section.

What is your minimum survey size or area?

We do not have a minimum survey size; we work with clients on any size of program.  However, we do have a minimum line length depending on the type of survey.

What is your minimum line length?

The minimum line length is dependent on the type of survey. We have the minimum requirement in place so we can ensure survey efficiency and safety as well as proper imaging at depth should there be advanced processing and interpretation.

The minimum line length requirements are as follows:
Helicopter Magnetics – 3km
Helicopter Time Domain Electromagnetics – 3km
Helicopter Frequency Domain Electromagnetics – 3km
Helicopter Natural Fields Electromagnetics – ZTEM™ – 10km
Fixed Wing Magnetics – 10km
Fixed Wing Natural Fields Electromagnetics – ZTEM™ – 10km
Fixed Wing Gravity – 10km

Where do you fly surveys?

We have worked around the world and are happy to discuss any opportunity. To see the locations we have worked in previously please go to our Survey Locations section. As found in our Contact Us section, we have several offices worldwide and various local partnerships that allow us to meet your survey needs.

Can I get quotations for multiple systems?

Of course, we are happy to offer quotations for all systems that will provide you with the best solution for your project.

What is mobilization/demobilization?

Mobilization/demobilization is when our system and crews are moving the equipment into and out of the survey area.

What is standby?

Standby is a day that we are not able to fly due to weather, diurnal, or local unforeseen issues(where applicable and as discussed with the client in advance of the project).

Do I need to be on-site for the survey?

There is no requirement for you to be on-site for your survey, our crews are highly experienced and typically run with minimal support required from the office. However, if you wish to be on-site you are more than welcome. If on-site, you will be able to see the crews’ day to day activities and get a first hand look at the system.

Note: No data is provided directly from the field, all data is processed by Geotech’s internal QC group prior to being delivered to our clients. Your account manager can discuss real time data delivery with you during the planning stages of your project.
