Absolutely! You can arrange fuel for your survey with a local provider or, if you already have fuel on-site we can use it, provided it has been properly stored. Please note that fuel usage is subject to the pilots’ discretion, drummed fuel is typically valid for 1 year from drumming. Please discuss with your account manager if you have any questions.

Typically, we require climate appropriate sleeping facilities, washroom and shower facilities, internet access, and meals provided by a cook. Also important is a safe landing area for our system.  A full set of camp requirements is available upon request by your account manager.

There are a lot of variables when considering the survey duration including whether the survey is helicopter or fixed wing, the size of the survey, the system type, and the weather. You can use approximately 300 km’s per survey day for helicopters and 750 km’s per survey day for fixed wing once the system starts production. The crew will require two days to get everything setup and tested, and an additional day to leave the site once the survey is complete. Please note that these are averages and details should be discussed further with your account manager for your specific survey.

As a general rule we stay as close to the survey site as possible. This allows our crews to be more efficient and allows for a firsthand look at the weather conditions in order to maximize production time and minimize the length of your survey. Main factors for determining production time and length of survey are access to site, fuel availability, and accommodations. If you know of anything that would help us in determining these items please be sure to mention them to your account manager.
